User Experience Designer III
Experience Design at Best Buy Canada drives the vision for the experiences we create for customers, store associates & employees. We are a large and growing team of diverse specialists in UX, UI, Digital Design, and UX Writing. We are truly agile and embedded across different problem spaces across Best Buy.
As a User Experience Designer at Best Buy, you will work collaboratively with marketing, business partners, and your peers in the experience design community to build iterative and scalable solutions.
In this role, the successful candidate is needed to be in the Greater Vancouver, BC area, where we practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.
What you’ll do:

• Leveraging user research technique (e.g. usability testing and analytics) to better understand our customers and how they engage with our site to evolve and iterate experiences
• Crafting deliverables such as user flows, wireframes and design specifications that effectively communicate design strategies and interaction behaviors
• Owning and defining the UX strategy, vision, and experience for the Bestbuy.ca team
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the design process and solving for customer challenges through technology and CMS solutions

What we’re looking for:

• Proficiency in discovery research, usability evaluation, user testing and rapid prototyping
• Strong stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with product partners and stakeholders to define experience strategies and rationales
• 2+ years’ experience as Senior UX designer, preferably in multi-disciplinary team environment
