Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Perform student assessment on first tutoring session to determine the assigned student’s needs
  • Create individualized, curriculum-based teaching plan for each student based on his or her assessment
  • Complete learning summary after each tutoring session to communicate progress to parents
  • Provide private tutoring services to students, assigned based on grade, subject, location, etc., at the location mutually agreed upon



  • Able to provide own transportation to tutoring location of assigned students close to where you live or work
  • Will work with students in Greater Toronto Area and surrounding areas
  • Bachelor of Education or Master of Education
  • QualificationsMust be an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) in good standing
  • Language (English) - Intermediate or Senior Divisions
  • Candidate should have at least one of the following OCT Basic Qualifications:
  • Criminal record check report dated within the last 12 months
