Traffic Clerk - Accounts Payable

What You’ll Do

• Forward deductions to be applied to suppliers' accounts to the Accounts Payable Department
• Identify dealers to be invoiced
• Communicate with carriers to explain the policies they must abide by and to solve problems
• Authorize transport invoices to be paid and carriers' requests for additional charges they want to apply
• Analyze carriers' account statements
• Codify freight costs in the appropriate general accounts ledger and generate appropriate forms for the payment of transport invoices
• Submit log entries to the finance department when required and participate in tasks for end of fiscal year
• Verify services billed by transport companies, invoices, compliance with agreement policies and with the supplier’s manual

What You Bring

• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• College diploma in Transport Logistics, Accounting and Management or General Administration
• Knowledge of transport and/or accounting
• Good communication skills
• Pro-active, diplomatic and well organized
• Bilingual (English and French)
