Purpose:
This Accounts Payable clerk will support the team by performing daily accounts payable duties, banking, and other office duties as assigned.
Responsibilities
Process AP transactions
Record credit card payment entries
Communicate with vendors re: payments and discrepancies
Bank deposits
Assist in internal cycle reviews
Assist in month end and year end closing
Ad-hoc reporting as required
Act as a back up for other team members, as required
Other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Post-secondary education in Accounting/Business Administration
1-2 years accounting experience in Accounts Payable and office administration
Experience with HST filings
Experience working in Sage 300: GL and AP preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft Office skills: Excel (Intermediate), Word and Access
