Junior Trading Analyst Company Overview: We are a small agricultural commodity trading firm that specializes in trading futures. Our team is comprised of highly motivated and disciplined individuals who share a passion for markets. We believe in a collaborative approach to decision-making.

Job Overview: We are seeking a Jr. Trading Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing trades, providing market intelligence, and producing daily reports. The candidate will also assist in data analysis, modelling, improving our processes and eventually decision making.

Responsibilities:

● Execute trades in agricultural futures and options on futures in accordance with our best execution practices.

● Analyze data and monitor market developments to make informed trading decisions / identify potential opportunities.

● Produce daily trading reports (P&L, position statement, etc.) and work with team members to improve our reporting processes.

● Keep up to date with industry developments and innovations.

Qualifications:

● Post secondary education in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or statistics.

● Must have some experience using trading platforms (Questrade, Interactive Brokers, etc.)

● Strong analytical and quantitative, and problem-solving skills.

● Candidate will ideally be proficient in Excel and have some knowledge in at least one programming language (SQL, Python, R).
