Virtusa is seeking to hire a BSA with good experience.

Position: BSA with Equity Trading

Location: Toronto, CA

Very strong Knowledge

1. Investigation, Analysis, Requirements – Pristine documentation for analysis and requirements

2. Daily Stand Ups, Sprint Planning, Grooming, Sprint 0, Jira User Stories, Confluence, ability to break down stories into one sprint

Strong Knowledge

1. Retail Trading – Advisor and discount brokerage experience- Domestic & International (EQ) Trading, Fidessa, FIX, Foreign Exchange, stock symbols & their identifiers (SEDOL, ISIN etc.).

2. Account Positions – Real time position updates, margin calculations, concentration (loan value)

3. Account Activity – Real time updates for various transactions – order execution, funds transfers, security transfer in and out, dividends, credit issues (buy in’s and sell out’s)

4. Crisis Management – Failover to redundant path, outage processes, mitigating financial and reputational risk to firms

5. Data analysis – SQL, Excel

6. Mapping data

7. Broadridge Financial Systems – Brokerage functions. Could be another vendor that is used as a Book of Record

8. Administrative Tasks – Taking minutes, booking meetings, Sprint Planning Sessions etc.

9. Fast Paced Environment – we work in 2 week sprints
