Description


Our client, a financial institution in North York territory, is seeking a Data Analyst/AML candidate for a 3-month contract opportunity (potential for extension). The incumbent will be responsible for analysing, comprehending, refining and documenting data, which entails collaborating with individuals from various levels within the bank, including IT, Compliance, and Operations departments as well as a vendor implementing the solution. The successful Data Analyst/AML will come with strong knowledge in statistical analysis, Histogram, Box-plot, IQR, Tukey and any other kinds of outlier analysis. Will also have experience/understanding of AML/ATF typologies and trends as the focus of the analysis to be conducted resolves around Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.

Requirements


The Data Analyst/AML will have:


  • Advanced excel skills (SQL is an asset)
  • Solid statistical analysis alongside with AML experience
  • Strong STR (Suspicious Transaction Reporting), Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD).
  • Excellent writing, analytical and communication skills.
