What You Will Do

The Trading Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining the tools the team uses daily and assist in investigating and developing trading strategies. Part of the core duties will also require the Analyst to become proficient as a Real-Timer trader, either to occasionally back-fill shifts or move on to become a Real-Time trader.

What You Will Bring:

Minimum Qualifications

• Comfortable and capable of eventually working on a rotating 12-hour day & night shift schedule.
• Experience building analytic tools (gathering, cleaning, and manipulating datasets, ultimately deriving meaningful results).
• Proficient programming skills, with an emphasis on VBA and Python. Familiarity with Java, XML, SQL, and MySQL is an asset.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and can work well under pressure.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance, economics, engineering, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, programming, or a related field.
• Prior experience developing new tools in collaboration with others.
