Working closely with internal partners such as Sales and Business Intelligence (BI), the Senior Trade Marketing Manager will maximize category potential and the brand’s overall market share. This role will support the development of in-store / customer marketing efforts that help to build the Vileda brand in the Canadian market. This role will ensure that various marketing and customer strategies integrate shopper insights in order to achieve the maximum awareness and efficiency for FHP.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead monitoring and reporting of top priority product, promotions, and media performance.
  • Develop fact-based selling stories (both national and account specific), to drive top line sales, awareness, and trial of products for the CA market in collaboration with BI and Marketing.
  • Empower the sales team with appropriate selling materials for key marketing initiatives and new product launches.
  • Develop and maintain ongoing marketplace and competitive knowledge, including product assortment, placement, pricing, and promotional activity.
  • Develop and enact strategies for operational in-store excellence and timely execution of promotions, POS, and customer focused activities.


Qualifications:

  • Home office ideally in Greater Toronto Area for travel to customers. Will also require travel to Quebec as well as the US, and potential global. Travel up to 25%.
  • Strong analytical skills and fluent abilities to work with data in Excel.
  • Ability to develop a pitch/sales story relying on facts/data. Ability to present both internally and externally with confidence and persuasion.
  • Experience working with Nielsen data a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in trade or shopper marketing, or sales or category management, within consumer goods/FMCG required - must have worked with product sold in retail landscape.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or Marketing a plus.
