VEGA Instruments Canada Ltd, Inc. is a fast-growing organization! We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Representative who will be responsible for the New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador provinces. The selected candidate must reside in the Moncton, Saint John or St. John's NFLD.
In this role, the Technical Sales Representative will play a crucial role in developing and nurturing long-term customer relationships. They will act as a trusted advisor, offering expert guidance and providing exceptional products and solutions. As production processes become more complex, our customers rely on measurement technology that is understandable and intuitive. VEGA has developed innovative measurement technology that leads the way in Worldwide trends toward “intelligent factories.”
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
Develop annual forecast for assigned territory and execute sales plan to effectively meet or exceed goals for market share growth, topline revenue, and new customers.
Act as a Trusted Advisor for new and existing VEGA clients to ensure they receive platinum service.
Develop close working relationships with key customer personnel and VEGA sales and technical personnel to ensure a team-selling approach and enhanced sales position.
Requirements
Must live within territory of job posting
Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
Frequent travel to the United States for training purposes: Candidates must have the ability to travel to the United States without restrictions and possess all necessary travel documentation.
Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive
Be willing and able to comply with all applicable Saftey regulations and polices, which may include the need to shave any facial hair that could interfere with PPE or respiratory protection requirements. The specific grooming standards may vary depending on the site or plant where services will be provided.
Comfortable and physically capable of climbing silos and working at tall heights.
Must be willing to obtain Working at Heights certification upon hire.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or related;
AND 1+ year(s) of experience in industrial automation or instrumentation
Minimum 2 Years’ Experience In External Sales
OR equivalent combination of education and experience
