As a Talent Coordinator, Employee Experience you are a vital part of our Talent team to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations within the Plus Company Toronto office. You will have a 360 role in which you will be exposed to different facets of HR to provide exceptional support to employees throughout their employment journey.
Some of the day to day responsibilities of your role will include but will not be limited to:
Employee Relations:
- Build relationships and act as a point of contact for employees for queries which can include:
- Support HR initiatives to promote employee engagement and a positive work culture.
- Conflict resolution
- Benefits, vacation and payroll queries
- Maternity leave questions and benefits / STD and LTD file management
- New hire pre-boarding and onboarding
- Resignations and exits, severance calculations, termination packages and paperwork
- Advise on policies and company standards
HR Administration:
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring data confidentiality and accuracy
- Assist with HR-related documentation, such as contracts, agreements, and policies
- Manage HR-related emails and inquiries, providing and helpful responses
Performance Management:
- Prepare training and learning materials
- Coordinate performance management meetings
- Coordinate 360 feedback process
Benefits and Payroll Support:
- Assist and collaborate with the payroll department to ensure accurate payroll processing
- Support with benefits administration, including enrollment, changes and inquiries.
HR Projects:
- Act as a member of the Talent team ready to collaborate on common projects both regionally and nationally, in all areas of Talent expertise
General Support:
- Develop strong partnerships and support with Talent team members in other offices (Quebec, Toronto and Vancouver)
- Manage and respond to incoming queries in the HR general email box.
- Act as a back up support for the Talent Specialist, Data Administration & Analytics and Talent Advisor.
- Assist in conducting audits and maintaining necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations and internal policies.
What you bring to the table:
- Proficient in using Google Office
- Comfortable working with highly sensitive information and being able to keep information confidential
- Detail oriented and committed to delivering high quality work
- A highly entrepreneurial individual who enjoys thinking outside the box and likes to identify solutions when there are gaps identified
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Team oriented and enjoys working in a highly collaborative environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly gain trust and credibility
- Proven experience (e.g., internships, entry level positions) in HR coordination or administrative roles is advantageous
- 1-3 years of HR related experience in which you were exposed to several HR functions
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment while being highly organized and able to keep a float of all information
