Systems Administrator Jobs

SinaLite is a family owned business which has been operating since 1999. What started as a small 1,200 square-foot print shop which operated a single small AB-Dick printer has blossomed into a company of 150+ employees, containing several million dollars worth of printing equipment, and achieving a yearly sales revenue of 40+ million with over 20,000+ customers across North America.
Key Duties:

• Manage employee user accesses to company assets, credentials
• Apply kernel and security updates to servers and network devices
• Recognize deficiencies and implement effective solutions for continuous improvement
• Other duties as assigned
• Provide “first response” services for security events
• Provision, set up, maintain, and monitor cloud services
• Maintain wired and wireless networks, ensuring security against external and internal threats
• Administer Windows and Linux systems
• Provide the first line of support for internal customer calls, e-mails, and support tickets to assist in system diagnostics, resolving technical problems, system outages, and maintenance
• Proactively monitor all networks, servers, applications and services for performance, uptime, and security-related events
• Maintain records of network configurations, problems / solutions, and change management, including network diagrams, server configurations, schema definitions, and operating procedure manuals
• Configure and maintain Active Directory Infrastructure, DFS, DHCP, DNS (Infoblox), SCCM, WDS, WSUS, and other Microsoft Infrastructure and security services
• Upgrade and maintain printing equipment software and workflows
• Manage and administer company Google Workspaces

Requirements

• Knowledge of network security, intrusion detection, and threat mitigation
• Familiarity with scripting languages is necessary (Bash, Python, PowerShell)
• Written and verbal communication skills, documentation, and training
• Experience managing and administering virtualized technologies such as Citrix, VMWare/VSphere 6.7 and 7.0, NSX-T, ESX, VSAN, Veeam
• Proven experience as a Windows and Linux System Administrator
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
• Ability to work non-standard hours and shifts
• Network administration knowledge equivalent to CompTIA Network+ (implementing and maintaining secure remote access, network segmentation including VPNs, network security controls, management of DNS and DHCP, and implementation and configuration of network devices such as firewalls, routers, switches, etc)
• Experience deploying and managing services exposed to the Internet
• Experience with MS Windows Active Directory, Office365, SharePoint
• Experience with formal data backup and recovery processes
• Experience with cloud VPS services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
