System Network Administrator Jobs

HR Desk has partnered with one of the leading importers and exporters of frozen fruits and vegetables. They pride themselves on providing high-quality products to their customers around the world. They are currently seeking a System Network Administrator to join their dynamic company.

Job Overview:

System Network Administrators plan, set up, and maintain computer networks for the organization.

You will play a critical role in serving as a technical expert for the organization's networks and computing systems.

The ideal candidate is an extremely technical, hands-on and self-motivated team player.

Network Administrator Responsibilities:

• Managing company hardware and keeping software up to date
• Onboarding new employees
• Providing all technical support to the team
• Managing IT health for tenants of the main building as well as Cold Storage. Trips to and from Cold storage in Manseau, QC might be necessary.
• Managing Network/System health, Kaspersky
• Being the go-to person for all things IT
• Managing VPN administration
• Ensuring the integrity and storage of our backup systems
• Managing user credentials for all domain users
• Website management

Systems Responsibilities:

• Creating SAP Queries
• Collaborating with the other departments on the best ways to further develop SAP
• Providing basic SAP technical support to the team
• Help improve business flow, using new systems and interfaces
• Manage the development of new software features in SAP and Boyum with the help of our partners
• Assume a hands-on role in testing and debugging related systems and interfaces
• Database maintenance and improvements

Qualifications:

• SAP knowledge mandatory
• 5 years+ experience in system/network administration role/ IT Infrastructure or related field
• Attention to detail and capability of prioritizing workload in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Fluent in English and French
• Extensive knowledge of computer-based operating systems and programming languages
