Cardinal Health Canada, with over 1300 employees nationwide, is an essential link in the Canadian healthcare supply chain, providing over 70,000 products to healthcare facilities and medical professionals across the country.
We are currently seeking a Strategic Pricing Advisor to add to our team in Vaughan, ON. This role is hybrid and requires on-site presence 2/week. Reporting to the Manager, Revenue Management, the Strategic Pricing Advisor will be accountable for developing, communicating, and leading the execution of pricing strategies in sync with the business / category strategy and customer profitability through pricing and value-capturing activities at both the strategic and tactical levels. You will leverage analytics, pricing concepts and principles, and technology to manage a wide variety of pricing initiatives and margin improvement projects. You will serve as an effective liaison with Executive management, Marketing, Legal, Finance, Sales, and IT teams.

Your Contributions to the Organization:
- Collaborating effectively across functions in Marketing, Sales, FP&A, and within the US based Revenue Management organization to design, execute and/or enhance processes and tools.
- Communicating key pricing insights across the organization, while being comfortable when challenged
- Managing the execution of a wide variety of price realization initiatives and ad-hoc analysis as needed to support business opportunities.
- Ability to grasp economic concepts, commercial processes, systems, and controls.
- Providing market pricing intelligence, pricing analytics and pricing recommendations to the Canadian Marketing and Sales teams.
- Data analysis and financial modelling, applying analytics and data visuals to extract insights and effectively draw applicable recommendations.
- Understanding Product and Category strategy, financial objectives, and Pricing expectations.
Qualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to propose actions, identify and illustrate opportunities, make recommendations, and articulate financial impact of decisions to personnel at all levels of technical ability and expertise.
- Solution oriented mindset driven by natural curiosity.
- Strong self-discipline for accountability, accuracy, and client service. Confidence and comfort in ambiguity.

- 5+ years’ experience in a FP&A, Pricing or any Analytical / Strategic role required.
- Self-initiative with strong discipline to deadlines is a must.
- Ability to effectively influence and advise at all levels of leadership (Manager to VP).
- Data management / manipulation skills – Advanced Excel required, SQL or Tableau will be a plus.
- Bachelor’s required /Master's degree preferred in finance/economics/math/analytics or equivalent work experience
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to display quantitative information in tables, charts, power point presentations and other forms visual enhancements to the data.
