Department Overview

Avigilon, a Motorola Solutions company, designs, develops, and manufactures advanced AI, video analytics, network video management software and hardware, surveillance cameras, and access control solutions that help change the way people interact with their security systems.

SEMI-REMOTE Position
We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager join the MSI PMO Team for IT projects spanning various Digital Operations platforms. You will be responsible for delivering strategically important projects to our expanding Video Security & Analytics business.
The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery and overall project management of major internal IT driven initiatives. This role will be accountable for leading cross functional teams to complete projects within allotted timelines and budgets, and in a manner that enables the business value of the initiatives to be realized. Reporting to the Program Manager and working in close collaboration with the Director of Business Applications, she/he will document and manage project scope and objectives, detailed work plans, project schedules, resource plans and status reports, conduct project meetings, ensure adherence to quality standards, and build dynamic and solid relationships. The Project Manager should be able to execute projects in an Agile, waterfall and hybrid methodology. This role includes overall project management, communications, developing and maintaining project roadmaps, schedules etc.as well as facilitating the project teams’ daily work and removing obstacles or impediments faced by the team.
Responsibilities:

• Lead projects with overall responsibility for successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, status reporting and closure
• Collaborate with project and program leads to create overarching business cases, project charters, communication plans, delivery timelines, detailed schedules and resources required
• Create a collaborative environment which allows the team and stakeholders to interact closely
• Accountable for tracking delivery and ensuring Project Plan milestones are met
• Mentor the team members to adopt truly Agile mindset, including ownership, self-management and empowerment
• Ensure overall successful project delivery (on-time, on-budget, high quality, meeting business outcomes)
• Remove the obstacles or impediments faced by the team in its work
• Facilitate Change Management and adoption activities by engaging area owners, IT team and business to deliver Change Impact Matrix and successful adoption
• Oversee Testing, Cutover activities and lead hypercare to ensure project goals are met
• Able to work after hours during critical windows (UAT, PROD Deployments)
• Facilitate the teams daily work including all the scheduled meetings
• Provides timely updates to the IT leads, functional leads, IT PMO, and key stakeholders by producing regular status reports and steering governance updates
• Drive activities to achieve measurable outcomes by managing schedule, resource, scope, deliverables, budget, risk, issue, dependency, vendor relationship and communications

Additional preferred certification and experience:

• Knowledge of ITIL
• Experience with Agile tool sets Jira, Confluence etc
• Scrum master experience
• ERP/ SAP Project Experience
• Knowledge of Change Management for successful adoption
• Proven experience in using project management tools
• Experience with end to end project delivery
• Scrum Master / PMP Certification

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years in IT project management, AND 5+ years of SAP experience
