Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner
Business Unit: Aerospace

Reports to (Job Title): HR Director, Aerospace
Description
The role will drive the People agenda for the company, including Talent and Succession Partnering and understanding areas for future growth and talent needs, and supporting the business with growth and change initiatives
This role will support all functions within the company, and will ensure that the people strategy for the company is aligned with the global Aerospace People Strategy and will work closely with the UK, US and UAE BP teams
The role holder will also be the conduit between the aerospace unit of the company and the wider HR organization, ensuring excellence in HR service delivery
Accountability
Responsibilities:
- To contribute to delivery of overall business goals through the development and delivery of the HR Strategic Plan for the company, including workforce planning to drive growth and change
- To understand key performance issues and objectives and drive the HR agenda to support business strategy and delivery.
- To enable the business to achieve its goals by having the right people, with the right skills, in the right place at the right time.
- Design and deliver talent and development interventions to ensure that the company leaders and employees have the capabilities to drive success
- To ensure that people issues are considered at the early stage of strategy formulation
- Manage the annual employee life-cycle activities for the company including performance reviews, talent and succession planning and the annual reward cycle
- Work closely with Canada Shared HR services to design and deliver services into the business that drive performance and deliver excellent employee experience
- To implement change within the Business area, including growth, organisational restructuring, and globalisation, ensuring that the changes are planned, and implemented, to ensure that organisational goals are achieved and people are managed and engaged throughout the change process
Tasks:
- To champion and implement HR initiatives across functions and business units and act as an ambassador for the HR function
- To identify and feedback issues to the senior HR management team for cross business solutions.
- To provide sound advice on all HR issues such as reward, performance, change, culture and leadership
- To support the development of Senior Managers and develop and implement new working practices
- Engage and influence stakeholders at all level of the organisation to support delivery of HR Strategy
- To champion communication and staff engagement within the business
- To contribute to the development of HR strategy
- To initiate and influence change management programmes
- To identify issues and trends and explore underlying causes in order to provide effective HR solutions / projects and initiatives
- This role is a true Business Partnering opportunity and we are looking for a consultative and proactive lead to be part of the wider HR team. The responsibilities within the role are broad and include:
- To align and design HR solutions to support business strategy
- To coach, challenge and advise managers on HR issues

- Degree educated, in a relevant field
Education:
- Certified Human Resources professional (CPHR)
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent experience)
Experience:
- Ideally experience of supporting global businesses especially US and UK in addition to Canada
- Experience of working as a senior business partner, ideally within industrial services
- Experience of supporting businesses through significant change, including organisational restructures
