Description:
Our client is currently looking for a Sourcing Analyst (Contract) to join our team in Calgary for a 12 month duration. Reporting to the Team Lead- Sourcing, the successful incumbent will lead and facilitate strategic tendering and negotiation activities. This is also accountable for steering contract lifecycle performance and facilitating key partnerships with internal and external stakeholders supporting Safety, Indigenous and Local engagement, quality, innovation, and cost optimization values.
Key Accountabilities
- Creates supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while facilitating assigned strategic contractor and supplier performance management requirements
- Identifies and leads continuous improvement of Sourcing processes
- Other special projects as required
- Consults with internal stakeholders to determine and align requirements, scope of work and/or supply, and desired outcomes for company projects.
- Leads and facilitates full-cycle Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Quotation (RFQ) processes for service and material requirements with a focus on Upstream Oil & Gas Services
- Maintains and communicates market analysis of key service and material information aligned with company demand planning requirements
- Supports commercial contract development and supplier management activities, ensuring agreements are developed in accordance to company terms and contracting policies
- Supports supplier and contractor onboarding accountabilities for the Company’s Approved Supplier Listings
Required Qualifications:
- Superior knowledge of tendering and contracting procedures and practices within the Supply Chain Management field
- Excellent written acumen, with a high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and communication skill
- High level of proficiency within MS Office applications
- Minimum 4 years Oil and Gas industry experience with a focus in upstream operations (Drilling, Completions, Facilities and/or Production Operations is preferred
- Previous work experience utilizing of P2P/S2P/S2O Software (GEP SMART/Ariba/Coupa/Ivalua/etc.), SAP or other ERP systems
- Dependable team player with an adaptable
- Demonstrated success aligned to Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE), as well as Indigenous and local engagement requirements.
- Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP) certification is considered an asset
- Post-secondary degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or Commerce is preferred
