Position Summary


The Solution Design Product Manager is for a new role created to support the Solution Design for current and new clients across the Teladoc Health product offerings. The Manager will focus on the most optimal user experience while balancing with operational efficiencies, clinical excellence, and a sustainable business model. There will be close collaboration with various key stakeholders across the business. In addition, the role is paramount for ensuring the products evolve to meet key customer needs, in particular customizations including private labelling, integrations, and eligibility. The role will apply best practices for product management along the product lifecycle to support maximal outcomes and expansion of service offerings in Canada.


Hybrid position: 1 to 2 times a week at our downtown Toronto office (depending on business needs)


Role and Responsibilities


  • Support commercial team in translating customer/partner customization requirements including branding/private labelling, integration, and eligibility working closely with US and other international teams to harmonize requirements with the global platforms
  • Develop and lead product feature improvements (new and existing enhancements) with the operation and commercial teams to inform product roadmap
  • Align with the broader product strategies and whole person care (WPC) thesis of Teladoc Health via annual and quarterly PI cycles establishing a methodology for prioritization
  • Support product leadership in PI planning and execution cycles as well as identifying and managing KPIs
  • Proactively manage and prioritize analysis and facilitation activities across key project initiatives
  • Contribute to the strategizing, planning, and execution of the Product Management team for Teladoc Health Canada
  • Manage key project risks and issues, including appropriate escalation to sponsors and leadership to include product management, commercial, clinical, and operations
  • Work collaboratively with the appropriate user research, content, developer leads to ensure product initiatives (PIs) that are executed
  • Establish evaluation plan to ensure PIs have intended impacts (process and outcomes) including monitoring and data analysis
  • Ensure ongoing communication with product, operations, clinical, commercial teams, and any other key stakeholders regarding PI status. Support development and user research teams in engaging internal stakeholders for user testing, etc.
  • Keep stakeholders involved by gathering input and communicating progress. This may include stakeholders from sales, account management, product management, operations, IT, Information management, clients/partners, etc.
  • Support translation of product feature requests into requirements, acceptance criteria, and ensuring a robust value proposition is articulated. This includes documenting relevant materials including user journeys, timelines, etc., in confluence, product board, JIRA, etc.


Qualifications and Education Requirements


Required:

  • Expertise in relevant business software (Microsoft Office Suite), product software (product board, confluence, JIRA, Miro, FIGMA)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder engagement
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in product management
  • Experience working collaboratively with business users and technical teams in multiple geographies
  • Bachelor’s degree required (additional years of work experience may be substituted)
  • Product management experience within healthcare settings
  • Strong analytical and consultative skills
  • Self-starter mentality with experience working with remote teams
  • SAFE knowledge is a plus
  • Previous success in leading product development projects in complex business process environments
