Solid knowledge of lighting standards and regulations, including safety and efficiency requirements (UL, CSA, ESTAR, DLC, CEC).

5+ years of experience in a role with process simulation.

Technical background with experience in Process industries, such as Chemicals, Refining or Gas Processing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Evaluate existing products and develop strategies to drive towards a lifecycle simulation platform in line with AVEVA’s strategy.

Responsible for product positioning in the marketplace and assisting with overall business plans.

Resource Management: Identify resource requirements, allocate tasks, and manage design resources efficiently to ensure optimal utilization and timely completion of deliverables.

Program Management Skills: Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Design Thinking: Strong understanding and application of design thinking principles to create user-centered, aesthetically pleasing, and functional product designs.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy, quality, and innovation in design deliverables.

Strong time management skills with a proven ability to focus on priorities juggle multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Proactively identifies opportunities to redesign or update previous and existing product to provide the customer with innovative offerings.

Share technical knowledge with others and actively seek to learn from those more knowledgeable than yourself

10+ years’ experience in product design, preferably within retail environment

Strong knowledge of International Vendor base

Industry leading conceptual, visualization and design skills

You have 4+ years of people management experience

Inspire, motivate, and lead designers and managers across experience levels to do the best work of their career

10+ years of experience as a Product / Industrial designer; consumer goods experience is a plus

Experience prototyping with 3D printing is a nice to have

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

-Experience in the design of valves and/or other types of pressure retaining equipment is an asset

-Knowledge of fluid power systems, instrumentation, basic electronics is an asset

-High degree of math skills including geometry and trigonometry

Education and/or strong work experience in Information Technology or a related field (preferred).

Assemble and manage program roadmap and checkpoint gates.
