Solar Business Development Manager (F/M)

SunMind, which originated as an intrapreneurship project and is now a subsidiary of VINCI Concessions, has the mission of unlocking the solar potential of companies and properties.

SunMind specializes in the development, financing, construction and operation of solar photovoltaic power plants on its client’s sites. SunMind has developed an expertise in innovative power valuation mechanisms, and has several projects in its portfolio developed through Corporate Power Purchase Agreements (on-site and off-site).

After securing 100MWp of projects in Sweden, SunMind created an office in Stockholm in February 2023 with the objective of securing 500MWp of projects by 2025. The projects will be mainly utility-scale with a value in Off-Site Corporate PPA. Storage opportunities will also be explored.

In this context, we are looking to recruit a Business Developer (F/M) to lead the development of this new market.

As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for the development of a portfolio of projects:

• Participate in the origination of Off-takers as part of the structuring of Off-Site PPAs.
• Create and manage partnerships with local authorities, energy companies, real estate companies etc.
• Manage all stages of development of a PV project : feasibility studies, environmental impact studies, filing and obtaining planning permission, connection agreement, etc.
• Coordinate all the parties involved in the PV projects : consultants, advisors, local authorities etc.

You will also work on transversal and strategic missions :

• Identify opportunities to acquire Ready-to-build project portfolios You will refine SunMind Sweden roadmap and participate in the structuration of a Swedish Team ;
• Manage the relationship with potential Swedish partners ; You will actively contribute to the development of SunMind’s offering in Sweden ;
• You will contribute to SunMind’s visibility on Swedish market through communication and participation in forums.

Reporting directly to the Country Manager in Sweden, you will also work closely with the entire SunMind team. This is a real opportunity to play a key role in the international success of an intrapreneurship initiative.

You have a 4/5 year university degree and have a thorough knowledge of the renewable energy market in Sweden or at least in the Nordics.

You have 5+ years experience in business development/development of large scale energy projects.
