The successful candidate will support one of our clients in the Saskatoon, Saskatchewan area (located within Treaty 6 & 10 Territory). The Commissioning Lead is responsible for:

• Leading the commissioning team to execute commissioning work safely and efficiently
• Obtaining and organizing permits, equipment and tools required for the commissioning field teams to execute work
• Verifying completion and accuracy of tasks performed by the commissioning field team
• The daily coordination with operations personnel and construction personnel in the completion of commissioning activities
• Execution of the commissioning activities in the field ensuring commissioning activities are executed according to commissioning plans and schedules.
• Planning of the commissioning work on multiple projects and collaborating with the project engineering and construction management teams

This role is also accountable for the quality of the turnover documents accepted by the commissioning group and ensuring work is completed in accordance with the drawings and specifications.
Requirements

• 10 years of previous experience in a commissioning role
• Journeyperson status in an electrical, instrumentation, mechanical or piping trade
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19
• Proficient computer skills
