Position: Software Developer Co-op/Intern

Network Infrastructure


The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.


What You Will Learn And Contribute To


As part of the team, you will:


  • Conduct software development with Java, JS React, Python, C#, .Net
  • Employ Jira/Scrum/Agile Methodologies
  • Execute database development using MSSQL, Oracle, MariaDB


Your Skills And Experience


Education Recommendations


Students pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering or Software Engineering from an accredited university in Canada.


You have:


  • Experience working on Agile development projects
  • Experience with front-end web development
  • Programming and Scripting skills with Python, Java, JS React, C#, Shell
  • Solid knowledge of databases: MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL/MariaDB
  • Strong analytical ability and communication skills
It would be nice if you also had:


  • Excellent communication to narrate data-driven insights and technical approach
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
