Geotechnical Engineer New Op Operation

Leading organisation, with multiple operations across North, Central and South America, require experienced Senior Geotechnicl Engineer on an exciting NEW surface operation in Ontario.

This is a newly created role, and a rare chance to on board at the early stages of production, and to grow with the operation; yet have all the security of knowing the wider group has established operating mines underpinning your success.

Working alongside other exceptional engineers, selected by CSG, you will thrive in an inclusive, collaborative, genuinely friendly, and support environment; where 'people tend to stick around'.

At this early stage of the production life cycle, you will have the opportunity to shape / own operations geotechnical engineering on a relatively large surface mine, working on a rotational basis FIFO 14/14; and fully expensed from any Canadian point of hire, wherever you may be in the country.

Subsequently, I am particularly interested to hear from experienced surface geotechnical engineers with ambition and spirit; those who have an open mind, able to adapt to change, where processes and systems are still being defined.

We are ideally looking for post graduate experience of more than 6 years; qualifications in mining engineering, geology, or geotechnical / similar at an undergraduate and, ideally, a masters level; we stress a masters qualification is not essential. Those ready for the step up to senior are also encouraged to apply.

There is a real opportunity here to transition into other roles, in the fullness of time, across the group's many surface operations.
