Job Description
We're a fintech company set to revolutionize Canada's financial market, and we're seeking an intern for a remote social media management position. We're a close-knit team, looking for a talented individual to help promote our unique message and brand through social media. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, is creative, understands social media platforms, and has experience in social media management. They should also have a passion for fintech and the finance industry to help us manage our online presence effectively. Responsibilities
  • Suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness, like promotions and competitions
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews
  • Collaborate with other teams, like marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout)
  • Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences
  • Design and implement social media strategy to align with business goals
  • Set specific objectives and report on ROI
Requirements
Good to have Social Media Manager skills:
  • Proven work experience as a Social media manager
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
  • Hands on experience in content management
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Familiarity with web design
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Excellent communication skills
