Our manufacturing facility is gearing up for growth, and we are looking for energetic and motivated Skilled Labourer, Production Manufacturing to join our team.
As a key member of our manufacturing production team, you will play a crucial role in helping us to ramp up production and meet our growing demand. Your duties will include working with a variety of hand tools, operating equipment, and performing laboring tasks, all while adhering to strict organizational and standard operating procedures (SOPs) and health and safety guidelines.
We are looking for individuals who like to work with their hands, thrive in a team-oriented environment, and are committed to delivering exceptional results.
This position reports to the Production Engineer and works collaboratively with multiple individuals within our multi-disciplinary team.

Location: On-site full-time in Delta, BC Manufacturing Facility
Work Hours: Day Shift: Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
Wage: $20 - $25 per hour
We are accepting applications from within the lower mainland, BC, only.
Education & Qualifications, Required
No minimum education requirement - training will be provided.
Nice to Haves, but can be certified on the job:
Class I forklift license
Level 1 or 2 Occupational First Aid certification
WHIMS
Skills & Experience, Required
At least 1 year of experience as production worker, warehouse worker, factory worker, general labour
Able to follow instructions, complete work tasks on schedule with clear timelines.
Have previously used power tools, pneumatic tools.
Knowledge of safe lifting and handling techniques.
Good understanding of quality control principles
Willingness to practice safe work habits and report unsafe conditions.
Ability to communicate effectively and respectfully both internally and externally.
Nice to Haves, but could be learned on the job:
Basic carpentry skills
Experience in manufacturing environment
Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.
Understanding of machine operation safety
The Role & Responsibilities - Production Worker
Operate hand tools as directed - pneumatic tools, hand tools.
Lifting, carrying, and moving materials. Up to 50 lbs.
General clean-up of the manufacturing facility; sweeping, removing, and properly disposing of debris and waste materials.
Perform quality inspections on your work.
Preparing necessary materials and setting up area and required equipment ready for production.
Unload and load materials from trucks/machinery.
Operate mobile equipment as qualified and directed (eg; scissor lifts, forklift)
Work safely around equipment, on production/manufacturing floor.
Monitor equipment performance. Report deficiencies to Operators.
Receive and unload deliveries.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area.
Communicate with other members of the manufacturing team, to ensure production goals and quality standards are met.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including identifying opportunities to streamline processes, improve quality, and reduce waste.
Comply with all health and safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Comply with our administrative policies and procedures as set forth from time to time
Contribute to team efforts.
Complete other duties as we may request which are consistent with your abilities and responsibilities.

Safety Requirements
When on the production floor or construction site, wear appropriate protective equipment, such as a hard hat, hearing protection, safety work boots, and safety glasses.
Work safely and follow all health and safety policies and procedures.
