Job Description
The STEVE MARSHALL GROUP is looking for a high energy, focused, inspiring individual as a Service Manager in our growing automotive group.


The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of automotive repairs and maintenance procedures, as well as a proven track record of managing a successful service team. As the Service Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all customers receive top-notch service while managing and leading a team of Technicians and Service Advisors.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers and vendors, ensuring the service center provides the highest level of customer satisfaction and profitability
  • Manage and oversee all aspects of the automotive service center, including customer service, scheduling, vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Monitor and manage the service centre budget, including inventory, equipment, and labour costs
  • Continuously improve service centre performance by implementing process improvements and staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Train and manage a team of Technicians and Service Advisors, ensuring they provide quality customer service and meet service centre performance targets
  • Maintain accurate records of service centre operations, including inventory, service history, and customer data
  • Ensure that all service centre staff adhere to safety policies and procedures
  • Develop and implement service policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Maintain effective and positive inter-department relationships


Requirements:


  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and automotive service software
  • Minimum 3 years related experience
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures
  • Effective listening, communication, and client service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously


Salary:


  • $100,000-$150,000 compensation package depending on previous experience, and future results

Experience:


  • Automotive Service Manager: 3 years (preferred)
