Job Description

Our client is a highly reputable organization in the staffing industry. As a leading recruitment firm, we are pleased to be assisting them in finding a talented Senior Manager - Western Canada. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving growth, building strong relationships, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Role Description:

Reporting to the Regional Director, the Senior Manager - Western Canada will be responsible for assisting in the leadership and management of the operations in Western Canada. This includes overseeing sales, relationship management, and placements for permanent, contract, and temporary positions. Your focus will be on supporting business development, nurturing client partnerships, and contributing to the success of the region. Collaborating closely with our staffing specialists and talent acquisition associates, you will ensure seamless placements and effective relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and follow-ups to gain a comprehensive understanding of client needs and contribute to tailored staffing solutions.
  • Provide support in handling on-site employee human resources issues as necessary.
  • Assist the Regional Director in leading and managing the operations of Western Canada, including sales, relationship management, and placements.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates, providing exceptional service throughout the entire recruitment process.
  • Support the development and implementation of strategies to drive business development and achieve regional growth targets.
  • Collaborate with staffing specialists and talent acquisition associates to identify and attract highly qualified candidates, contributing to the building of a strong talent pipeline to meet client requirements.
  • Uphold the highest standards of service quality by implementing and maintaining systems that position our client as a provider of premium staffing solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Director in coaching and mentoring the business development and operations teams, fostering a high-performance culture and driving productivity.
  • Contribute to contract negotiations with clients, employees, and consultants to establish mutually beneficial agreements.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective engagement with diverse stakeholders.
  • University degree or diploma is considered an asset, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Previous experience in a managerial role, with a proven track record of successfully supporting operations and driving growth.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office suite programs, utilizing technology to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the staffing industry, with a deep understanding of its dynamics and best practices.
  • Strong customer service orientation, ensuring exceptional experiences for clients and candidates.
