Salary: $Open + Bonus + Pension + Car allowance

Remote work: 3 days a week in the office, 2 days from home

Travel: 5 days p/month to Calgary

My client is a leading property management company with its head office located in Mississauga.

Your new role

The Senior Manager, Cash Management will be responsible for leading the Cash Management function for the organisation and all its managed properties including: the strategic direction of accounts payable (and payments), cost management and core banking relationships to align the Cash Management function with the company’s short- and long-term business plan, optimization of tools across the organization, development of the overall strategies for process development, introduction and training, planning and implementation of all applicable technology solutions. In addition, contributing to the organization’s business continuity planning and leading business continuity implementation associated with Cash Management, developing an internal control structure to ensure the safeguarding of corporate and client assets and monitoring compliance with such internal control. The Senior Manager, Cash Management will lead a team of 3 managers and 12 indirect reports.

What you'll need to succeed

The suitable candidate will have 10-15+ years overall experience with 2-5+ years in a management role, managing direct and indirect reports. Experience within a real estate operation is required, as is exposure to SAP Concur and Yardi systems. A strong finance understanding (reconciliations, balance sheet, accounts payable, cash management etc) within a mid sized operation, where you have managed a team of 5-10 + direct and indirect reports. The ability to build relationship both internally and externally and to provide strategic direction and solutions to the team as it serves teams across this large scale real estate operation. Previous experience with Corporate Credit Card programs and an excellent understanding of a control environment and treasury function. You will have a demonstrated track record of creating and implementing strategic change and innovation and a demonstrated knowledge of related compliance, regulations, requirements and standards. A proven record of successful project (incl. budget) and change management at the organizational level.
