What you'll do

• Participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain relevant and competitive.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance to ensure an exceptional user experience.
• Design and build high-quality, scalable, and maintainable mobile applications using Flutter, Dart, and other cutting-edge technologies.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to define, architect, and implement user stories and features, with a focus on seamless integration with our Amazon AWS-based backend.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code while following best practices, design patterns, and industry standards.

What you bring

• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage in efficient communication with team members and stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including architecture, design patterns, best practices, and CI/CD and app store deployment.
• Experience with native iOS development.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your mobile application development projects.
• 5+ years of experience in mobile application development.
• Strong experience using Restful APIs in mobile application development.
• Proficient in writing high-quality, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Experience with developing on one hybrid mobile framework, such as Flutter, React Native, Xamarin, etc.
• Experience with Amazon AWS services, third-party libraries, APIs, and SDKs.
• A self-starter with a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.

Nice-to-Haves

• Knowledge of other programming languages (e.g. HTML, Python).
• Experience with Firebase, RESTful APIs, and other backend technologies.
• Experience with native Android development.
• Experience with analytics tools, such as Amplitude, for tracking user behavior and improving app performance.
• Proficiency in using debugging tools, such as Sentry, for effective troubleshooting and error tracking.
• Experience with Amazon AWS services, third-party libraries, APIs, and SDKs.
