Location: Waterloo, ON – Hybrid (Tues, Wed, Thurs in office)

Min Pay Rate starts from $50/hr, T4

Overview:

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will deliver results that will make the organization more profitable. They can work on multiple projects & enhancements simultaneously and translate business data into digestible information that improves corporate processes. Their focus will be on process design, process reengineering, business requirements, gap analysis, process flows, testing and provide internal ticket triage support for the business to maximize Operational Excellence orientation across the organization.

The Senior Business Systems Analyst will collaborate with their manager and business teams to ensure the quality and timeliness of work.

You are great at:

• Assist the business with UAT scenarios ensuring all requirements are being tested
• Testing end to end processes using HPALM, assisting & triaging defects assigned during the testing cycles
• Working closely with broad user groups to coordinate and complete Operational Excellence activities to support sponsored projects and enhancements by:
• Being a change champion within the site and network by prompting questions and promoting team-based behavior
• Participating in the solution discussions for the functional spec & technical design documents
• Matching different influence strategies and negotiating styles, with active listening and discussion skills, to identify issues, ensure understanding and facilitate problem-solving
• Participate in coordinating the deployment plan
• Preparing communications to the business, train the trainer and user training documentation as required
• Acting as communication liaison between IT team and other functional areas.
• Providing support to business users on process questions, systems issues, escalating to an IT development or technical team as appropriate
• Leading meetings for determining and documenting business requirements for business processes and gap analysis
• Documenting and developing current and future state process flows

What You’ll Bring:

• Problem-solving skills, as well as a strong knowledge of business analysis tools and techniques.
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with ability to write detailed business requirements with attention to detail and emphasis on accuracy and quality
• BA certification is an asset
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish multiple tasks, both as part of a team and independently
• A high standard for work ethic and quality is required
• Experience related to Marketing, Sales, Finance, Reporting, Technology Services, Digital Experience, Global Privacy & Data processes in a software or technology company is an asset
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• 3 - 5 years of experience as a business analyst in IT projects
• Prior experience with SFDC, SAP, SAP BW, SAP BPC, ServiceNow, Ecommerce, Web Applications, Success Factors, Concur, Xactly, Anaplan, Tableau, Ariba is an asset
