What is the opportunity?

The Senior Business Operations Specialist will provide specialized support to the Operational Leader to drive operational efficiency and effectiveness.You will be instrumental in diverse areas such as project management, resource planning, research, budget management, process documentation, stakeholder communication, Project Management Office (PMO) support, compliance activities and meeting management. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Location:In Person in Vancouver, Canada.

What will you do?

• Assist in managing project financials, including budget tracking and reporting.
• Follow up with other leaders and stakeholders as needed.
• Assist in resource planning and allocation across projects.
• Provide specialized support to the Operational Leader in managing day-to-day activities and coordinating various internal projects, including PMO support and compliance initiatives.
• Ensure proper documentation and reporting of compliance-related activities and support the maintenance of a robust compliance framework.
• Write and document processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with external vendors or partners as needed.
• Conduct research and provide insights for decision-making.
• Manage specific projects or initiatives as assigned, including support for PMO and compliance activities.
• Set up and coordinate interviews with candidates for various positions.

What do Ineed to succeed?

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with relevant compliance regulations and best practices in the industry.
• 5-6 years of experience in business operations, project coordination, PMO, compliance, or a similar role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

Nice to have

• Experience in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiatives and reporting.
• Experience with budget tracking and financial reporting.
