Fully remote, must be based out of Montreal, QC or Toronto, ON

Bilingual Language Skills Required (English And Mandarin)

Full-time, permanent position

Salary range: $70,000 to $100,000 CAD

Requirements:

• Assist Supervisor in localization of Group policy and global business development strategy. e.g., take initiatives of collecting input from daily work & observation and advising supervisor and Group focal of potential optimization needs.
• Provide quality data and professional communication to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Other ad hoc work assigned by supervisor.
• Support Group/Finance/Business initiatives and rationalization from finance perspective, e.g., branch set-up and people relocation.
• Perform monthly financial statements analytical review for responsible entities.
• Perform Financial Statement Closing Procedures and prepare corresponding deliveries according to Group monthly financial closing schedule and requirements.
• By applying Oracle and other related systems, perform daily full function financial operation/book recording activities in accordance with Group Finance Policy and Procedures, including AP, intra-Group cost recovery, General Ledger, etc.
• Provide daily support to Business team as Finance Business Partner. Work closely with Business, Procurement and Treasury to make sure payment processed smoothly and in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Bilingual language skills (English and Mandarin) and can be adaptive to cross-time zone communication and collaboration with Headquarters and other regional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting and financial reporting; familiar with local Canadian practice; relevant laws & regulations knowledge is a plus.
• Good communication skills and a team worker; be capable of delivering jobs in a collaborative manner.
• Able to work under pressure with good self-motivation and sense of responsibility.
• Over 5 years of relevant working experience, especially in an international setting.
• Bachelor’s degree or above, majoring in accounting, financial management or auditing is preferred.
