Security Guard - Fast Food Restaurant - Scarborough

Wincon Security is hiring Retail security guards for a fast food restaurant located in Scarborough!

We are recruiting for the following shift consisting of 22.5 hours per week:

Monday to Friday – 1430 – 1900 (2:30PM – 7PM)

Job Duties a Security Guard

• Promote safety and adhere to client site emergency procedures
• Acknowledge customers as they enter and exit the store
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, customers, contractors and visitors of client's property
• Recording and maintaining log books of daily activities
• Strong interpersonal communication; good command of English language
• On-site First Aid responder until expert Medical help arrives
• Detect, challenge and displace unwanted people
• Follow up with daily documentation in your memo book; inputting notes and incident reports as required
• Perform routine property patrols and respond to Fire alarms
• Be visible to public as they enter the premises

Job Qualifications

• Use of force preferred but not required
• Valid Ontario Security Guard License in good standing
• Must have flexible availability and be able to cover continental shift relative to operational demand.
• Valid First Aid and Level "C" CPR certification
• Proven customer service experience of one (1) or more years
• Works effectively and handles multiple situations simultaneously while providing quality service
• Friendly personality who enjoys interaction with people at a professional level
• Ability to deal with and de-escalate emergency situation
• Must be able to walk, run, stand for extended periods of time, in addition to climbing stairs
• Act as an agent of the client site by creating a presence that builds a welcoming and safe environment for all customers
• Other industry recognized certifications or experience is an asset.
