We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with experience in PHP, Java, and Ruby to join our team. As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend architecture of our applications using Agile and Scrum methodologies.

Reporting to the Development & Innovation Manager, you will serve as Senior Backend Developer.

Your Job Duties will include, but not limited to:

Design and develop and maintain backend applications using PHP, Java, and Ruby
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain APIs
Write and maintain efficient and scalable code
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to team members
Develop and maintain unit and integration tests
Troubleshoot and debug production issues
Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in backend development
Follow Agile and Scrum methodologies to plan and deliver software development projects
Integrate code using Bitbucket code management while adhering to the build and branching processes
Perform Code reviews and mentor junior developers

Key Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
5+ years of experience in backend development, with a focus on PHP, Java, and Ruby
Strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
Experience with web frameworks such as Laravel, Spring Boot, and Ruby on Rails
Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Experience with version control systems such as Bitbucket
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
Experience with code reviews and staff mentoring
