SSENSE is seeking an experienced SAP Procure to Pay (PTP) Business Analyst to join our team. As the SAP PTP BA, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing SAP PTP processes, including procurement, inventory management, invoice verification, and payment processing. You will work closely with key stakeholders to gather requirements, identify areas for process improvement, and ensure SAP PTP functionality meets business needs. In addition, you will collaborate with other functional teams, including finance, logistics, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of SAP PTP processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and experience in SAP PTP implementation and support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Delivery:
- Develop a thorough understanding of SAP PTP functionality and use that knowledge to identify areas where process improvements can be made
- Keep up to date with the latest developments in SAP PTP technology and make recommendations for product enhancements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for SAP PTP processes, such as purchasing, inventory management, invoice verification, and payment processing
- Continuously monitor and optimize SAP PTP processes to ensure maximum efficiency and accuracy
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that code is efficient, and meets best practices and development standards
Ownership and Accountability:
- Take ownership of code quality, performance, reliability, scalability, and resilience of SAP PTP processes
- Provide regular reports on SAP PTP performance and make recommendations for improvements as needed
- Define and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure that SAP PTP processes meet business needs
- Collaborate with QA Analysts to ensure thorough testing of SAP PTP processes before they are released to production
- Participate in incident management and resolution to minimize downtime and service interruptions
Knowledge Sharing and Coaching:
- Develop and deliver training programs for SAP PTP users to ensure that they are using the system effectively and efficiently
- Mentor junior SAP PTP analysts to help them develop their skills and expertise
- Share knowledge and best practices with other team members to improve the overall SAP PTP competency of the organization
- Participate in SAP PTP user groups and industry events to stay up to date with the latest trends and developments
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the organization
Architecture:
- Participate in the development of technical roadmaps and standards for SAP PTP processes
- Collaborate with technical architects and other developers to design solutions that meet business needs and align with best practices and development standards
- Stay up to date with the latest SAP PTP technology trends and make recommendations for architectural improvements
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for SAP PTP processes to ensure that they are well understood by all stakeholders
- Continuously monitor and optimize SAP PTP architecture to ensure that it is scalable, efficient, and resilient
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in maintaining master data related to SAP PTP including material master, business partner etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Experience with SAP IS Retail and Fashion industry solutions is a plus.
- Experience in business process analysis and design, requirements gathering, and SAP fit-gap analysis.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in SAP Procure to Pay (P2P) modules, including SAP MM and other SAP module integrations.
- Experience working in Agile methodology and testing.
- Familiarity with SAP and EDI integration for Procure to Pay.
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Working knowledge of Idocs
- Solid understanding of SAP P2P functionality, including procurement, Inventory management, sourcing, contracts, invoicing, and payments.
- Ability to debug and understand customer code.
- Experience working with S/4 HANA on premise, cloud or Rise with SAP.
