This position is responsible for sales of E-mobility products and services for the Canadian Public Charging market in the region in accordance with the ABB E-mobility business strategy.
The candidate will manage customers with public chargers and develop new customers/business in the region.
The candidate will help create market demand, build long-term customer relationships, and manage resolutions to specific customer needs and issues.
The candidate will identify and develop sales opportunities in conjunction with the E-mobility Public Charging team and our local partners.
Your responsibilities
  • Develop a sales strategy for the region working with the Public Charging team. Creates added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts, and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
  • Meets and exceeds sales targets for products & services for the Public Charging segment – focused on volume and profitability.
  • Collaborates with the Business Development team to identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  • Collaborates with and supports the Marketing team during marketing activities which include participation in tradeshows and industry agencies for the Public Charging segment.
  • Manages and follows sales processes and supports service and project management activities when needed.
  • Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs and ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.

  • Technical understanding of Electric Vehicles (cars & trucks) and Power Electronics
  • Strong business acumen
  • Sales process master
  • B. Eng, Electrical or any relevant discipline
  • Motivated, self-starter, able to work independently
  • Contract & Business Law understanding
  • Travel required across Canada: 30%-50% of the time
  • Experience in selling or commissioning of EV Systems an asset
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in technical selling sales
  • Thought leadership and influencer skills to be able to eventually participate to committees/panel discussions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; proficiency in Salesforce is an asset
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Valid Canadian Passport
