Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced PR Agent to spearhead the national expansion of GROW Women Leaders. As a PR Agent, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and strengthening our brand presence, building strategic partnerships, and promoting our mission to connect highly skilled women professionals, especially immigrants, with job opportunities. You will work closely with the executive team and collaborate with various stakeholders to drive awareness, generate media coverage, and elevate our platforms reputation on a national scale. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact and contribute to the growth and success of an innovative and inclusive talent platform.
Develop and execute PR strategies: Create and implement comprehensive PR strategies to drive brand awareness, position GROW Women Leaders as a thought leader, and amplify our mission and key messages to a national audience.
Media relations: Cultivate relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and industry experts to secure media coverage and generate positive publicity. Pitch stories, arrange interviews, and facilitate media requests to promote GROW Women Leaders initiatives and achievements.
Brand positioning: Craft compelling messaging and stories that effectively communicate our unique value proposition, impact, and commitment to diversity and inclusion. Develop and maintain brand guidelines to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
National expansion: Develop and execute PR campaigns to support the national expansion of GROW Women Leaders, targeting key markets and industries. Collaborate with regional teams to adapt messaging and strategies to local contexts.
Partnership development: Identify and forge strategic partnerships with media outlets, organizations, influencers, and industry associations to expand our reach, foster collaboration, and amplify our mission. Collaborate with partner organizations on joint initiatives and co-marketing opportunities.
Crisis management: Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to effectively manage potential reputational risks. Monitor media coverage, identify potential issues, and proactively address them to protect and enhance GROW Women Leaders reputation.
Content creation: Create compelling content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, op-eds, and social media content, to engage target audiences, promote our platforms features, and highlight success stories and impactful initiatives.
Event coordination: Plan and coordinate PR-related events, such as press conferences, media briefings, speaking engagements, and industry conferences. Represent GROW Women Leaders at relevant events to establish relationships and increase brand visibility.
Performance measurement: Develop and implement metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of PR campaigns and initiatives. Monitor media coverage, track key performance indicators, and provide regular reports to the executive team.
Requirements
Proven experience: Minimum of [5] years of experience in PR, communications, or related fields, with a track record of successfully managing national PR campaigns and securing media coverage. Experience in the technology or talent acquisition industry is a plus.
Strong media network: Established relationships with national media outlets, journalists, influencers, and industry experts. Ability to leverage these connections to generate media coverage and secure speaking opportunities.
Strategic thinker: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic PR plans that align with business objectives, target key audiences, and drive measurable results.
Excellent communication skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail. Ability to craft compelling messages and adapt communication styles to different audiences.
Relationship builder: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including media professionals, partners, and internal teams. Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
Crisis management expertise: Experience in developing crisis communication plans, managing issues, and mitigating reputational risks. Ability to think critically and make sound decisions under pressure.

Project management: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Bachelors degree: A degree in public relations, communications, journalism, or a related field is preferred. Relevant certifications in PR or communications are a plus.
