Sales Representative – Payments & Rewards (not remote)


As a Payments and Rewards Sales Representative, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate leadership and leverage your sales potential as you become a product expert and achieve sales targets. You should take pride in understanding customer needs as we continue to build a customer-centric environment.


  • Approach each situation with confidence and enthusiasm to promote and sell our wide-selection of products and solutions
  • Understand customer needs to make appropriate recommendations
  • Offer exceptional advice and product knowledge
  • Actively engage with customers to educate and promote President's Choice Financial products
  • Create excitement around the product offering, by being a subject matter expert and advocate for the brand/product


What you’ll need for success in this role:


  • Openness to learn through daily interactions with peers and leadership
  • Post-secondary education with a minimum of 1 year’s success in sales in a financial or retail environment (preferred)
  • High level of integrity and accountability working with confidential customer information
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to engage and influence current and potential customers by understanding their needs and recommending relevant products and services
  • An outgoing personality with a talent for acquiring new customers

As an Asset Protection Representative, You will:


  • Collaborate with the local police service regularly
  • Detect and investigate internal investigations; compile and present evidence for the purpose of court or arbitration
  • Detect and identify potential shrink opportunities within our operational core compliance
  • Participate in conducting store level audits
  • Deter, detect and apprehend for theft and fraud within our retail locations
  • Collaborate with other APRs to investigate provincial or national ORC cases when they arise
  • Build and maintain store partnership through management meetings & huddles; coach and mentor colleagues regarding Asset Protection policies and procedures
  • Participate in Community Events
  • Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, nights and weekends (40 hr. work week)


Required Skills, Qualifications & Experience:


  • Basic understanding of the of Criminal Code of Canada, Trespass to Property Act and Powers of Arrest and CCTV and/or surveillance systems & have a working knowledge of Windows based applications (Word, Power Point and Outlook)
  • Valid Provincial Security Guard License required
  • Professional, friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • A high degree of initiative and integrity required to be successful in a dynamic environment
