This is a 12-month contract position; however, it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Automotive Sales Operations Analyst – Calgary, AB
SCHEDULE – Monday to Friday 8:30-4:30pm (Can be flexible)
HYBRID - 3-4 days in office – (80% onsite)
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a valid Full Class G Ontario Driver’s License, Full Class 5 Alberta Driver's License, or equivalent out-of-province license
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex subjects to a wider audience
- High level of integrity, ability to deal with ambiguity, takes initiative/self-directed
- Proven ability to analyze data and extrapolate insights
- Post-secondary degree in Business Administration or related field
- Strong Business Acumen
- Business Analyst – be able to analyze reports
- Consistently demonstrates innovative thinking that is customer-centric
- Possess strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- 2-4 years of related Operations & Analysis experience
- Evidence of strong character with integrity, honesty, accountability, and trust
- Excellent project management skills and the proven track record to manage numerous projects
- Fundamental digital literacy including understanding of MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint with an emphasis on Excel
- Preferred previous experience in automotive or a curiosity about the industry
- DESIRED SKILLSOutstanding leadership, interpersonal, and relationship management skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with varying levels of the organization
- Expert in Excel/Access- will need to create and run reports
- Getting inquiries for District Managers, need to respond in a timely manner, and assist with any questions District Managers
- Support a small group of regional staff including administrators and department heads Lead projects from start to finish which will be dependent on your interest and business needs
- RESPONSIBILITIESDay to day responsibilities include working with sales reporting tools, inventory, creating reports that they will provide to District Managers that helps them leverage with their Dealer’s
- Potential opportunity to move into the marketing side
- Periodic local travel to attend Region events and to visit GM Dealers, opportunity to grow and develop further
- Develop communiques for Dealers informing them of the go-to-market strategy
- Administer the OEM Canada Courtesy Car and Pool Vehicle Program within the Region
- Chance for extension later, and could grow into new roles such as a District Manager role
- The role is more individual, they are support piece to the team, would have daily interaction with District Managers
- Completes ad hoc Sales and Marketing projects and reports as required
- Facilitate the planning and execution of regional meetings
- Support with sales reporting, data analysis and other sales communications
