In this full-time Sales Manager role, you will develop a business plan and sales strategy for the rental operation market that ensures the attainment of company goals and the growth of profitability.

The Role Details:

• Full-time role

• Hybrid role - 2025 Willingdon Ave, Burnaby, BC
• $60,000 base salary plus commission

Responsibilities and duties:

• Hire, train and lead/supervise sales agents to acquire new clients
• Deliver sales presentations and online demos to a range of prospective clients
• Design and implement a strategic sales plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
• Conduct research and travel around if required to identify sport equipment rental and other new sales prospects to utilize the software
• Reach out to potential customer leads through cold calling and email, with follow up when necessary
• Aid in the professional development and coaching of current employees
• Handle discovery calls with the sales qualified leads, collect all business requirements of the client and prepare the statement of work.
• Track sales goals and report results as necessary to measure and evaluate success on ongoing programs and activities
• Implement planning and tracking of sales performance (daily, weekly, monthly) to analyze sales results continuously, propose strategies to maximize market penetration, and increase market share
• Oversee the activities and performance of your sales team by tracking sales goals and setting individual sales targets
• Develop and improve sales workflow automation in HubSpot while maintaining accurate records
• Conduct performance evaluations for team members
• Maximize Rentrax’s market share through the development of professional business relationships, as well as maintenance of a high level of presence which then enhances customer satisfaction and increases awareness of Rentrax products and services.
• Manage organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting planned goals, and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation.
• Acquire product knowledge of the Company’s software and its new releases, and similar competing products and services
• Implement disciplinary action and terminations if necessary

The Candidate

Individuals with the following traits, skills and experiences should apply:

• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn new software
• Experience in the rental industry is an asset
• Motivated self-starter with proven selling skills
• Excellent knowledge in online and digital marketing
• Deep belief in customer satisfaction with ability to build strong client relationship
• Ability to travel internationally, if required
• Exceptional communication skills in English, bilingualism in Spanish or French is an asset
• Excellent business development skills
• Goal oriented, organized, outgoing, patient and persistent
• Team mindset with a collaborative approach with the ability to work independently
• Post secondary education in Marketing and Sales
• 5+ years’ experience in b2b SaaS sales field (preferably in one of competitors)
• Proven expertise working with Hubspot CRM
