Renovation Contractor--Hourly & Subcontract Jobs

The Byng Group is a leading interior renovation general contractor with more than 50 years' experience and a team of over 500, specializing in high-rise rental properties.

We are looking for experienced Handymen to perform renovations in high-rise residential apartment buildings throughout the Kingston/Belleville Area.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing Hookups considered an asset
• Installation of Slab Doors and Sliding Closet Doors
• Installation of Laminate Countertops
• Miscellaneous Carpentry (Bathroom Accessories, Air Grills etc.)
• Painting and drywall install and repairs.
• Installing floor tiles, tubs around, backsplash tiles.
• Installation of Closet Shelves (to be cut to size on-site)
• Installation of Baseboard and quarter round
• Installing of floors (vinyl, laminate hardwood )
• Installation of Vanity Cabinets
• Additional skillset of interior renovations

Job Requirements

• Valid Ontario Driver's License with a clean Driver’s Abstract
• Able to problem solve on-site and off-site
• Own Tools Required (They are not supplied)
• Operate all tools required to complete work
• Ability to follow and complete a daily, weekly & monthly task schedule
• At least 3 years’ experience as a Contractor

SALARY

• Start at $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
• Rate is based on skillset and performance/speed

We are also looking for Junior Level Experience Handymen to pair with a more experienced Handyman
