General Contractor/Project Manager

Bouwen Homes is seeking a reliable, organized and hardworking individual to manage the process of residential construction.

Responsibilities:

· Manage on-site activities, resources, equipment and information

· Monitor project progress and handle any issues that arise

· Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants

· Work with Project Manager

· Ensure standards and requirements are met

· Coordinate with trade suppliers

· General labour at construction site

· Operate heavy equipment as required

· Perform physical labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials

· Assist with the setup and cleanup of job sites

· Operate hand tools and power tools as required

· Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and other construction documents

· Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements and Skills:

· Experience in residential home construction

· Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management

· Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance control

· Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, and other construction documents
