Job Title: General Contractor

Location: Nova Scotia: Wolfville, Western Head, Antigonish

Salary: $60,000/year + performance bonus on projects completed on time and on budget.

Greener Project Development Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced general contractor to join our team. As a general contractor, you will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Hire and manage subcontractors, ensuring that they meet all project requirements and adhere to safety standards.
• Daily management of all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and procurement of materials and labor.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and take proactive steps to ensure that projects are completed on time and on budget.
• Communicate regularly with upper management to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns they may have.
• Ensure that all work meets the highest quality standards and complies with all relevant building codes and regulations.

Requirements:

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of subcontractors to deliver high-quality work.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Proven experience as a general contractor, with a strong track record of completing projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary of $60,000 per year, with the opportunity to earn an additional performance bonus on projects completed on time and on budget.
