Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated Payroll Administrator to remotely join a highly reputable manufacturing team located in Ontario.
Position: Payroll Specialist
Location: Ontario
Industry: Manufacturing, Large
Type: 6 months contract with high potential to extend or turn permanent.
Work from home? Yes! This is 100% remote!
Do you have experience processing high-volume multicycle payroll?
Do you have strong experience working with large payroll systems like ADP or Ceridian?
Are you confident in your knowledge of Canadian Payroll laws and regulations?

Responsibilities
In this remote Payroll Administrator position, you will be responsible for the following:
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing and reporting requirements
  • Review payroll transactions entered into the system including new hires, terminations, and preparation of ROEs
  • Administer and balance remittances to various agencies and vendors
  • Prepare T4s, T4As and pension adjustments for year-end balancing
  • Administer filing of documents
  • Provide payroll services through the preparation and processing of multicycle payroll for both hourly and salaried employees
  • Ensure the scheduling system has accurately captured hourly employee's times
  • Complete statistical and employee earnings information
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
Qualifications
In this Payroll Administrator position, we are looking for:
  • Multiprovince payroll processing experience is a great asset.
  • Experience with payroll systems like ADP or Ceridian is a must.
  • PCP or CPM designation preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of Canadian payroll experience is required.
