The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for preparing regulatory documents and submissions, as well as reviewing consumer product labels. This role will involve collaborating closely with the Director of Regulatory Affairs to ensure all regulatory requirements are met to support existing and new business. The Regulatory Compliance Coordinator will be responsible for compiling regulatory data in a centralized location to ensure legal requirements are met. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a detail oriented, self-starter to gain exposure to building a compliance program.
5 Years of experience in a Chemical Manufacturing Plant. Consumer Packaging Product Labelling a must. Packaging and Plastics knowledge.
Manage and maintain the compliance software used to create Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and assess regulatory compliance in North America.
Support regulatory assessment of new products and/or new markets.
Assist in the development and maintenance of a compliance system to manage government licenses, permits, registrations and applicable certifications.
Keep track of new government regulations affecting Recochem.
Other duties as specified by the Director.
Required Skills: Knowledge of WHMIS/US GHS as well as TDG/DOT regulations. Familiarity with consumer product labelling under CCCR and CPSA. Excellent organizational skills and diligence. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Strong written and oral communication. Ability to work independently while delivering professional support to cross functional teams.
Preferred Skills: Familiarity with pesticide and VOC regulations. Familiarity with CEPA DSL and TSCA requirements.
