Territory: Western Canada
- Facilitate alignment between the sales group and the balance of the organization.
- Lead and hold Territory Managers accountable for maximizing the value of individuals through effective coaching and mentoring, and meeting KPI’s at an individual and departmental level.
- Partner with Business Units and Marketing groups to develop sales and promotional campaigns or to craft extemporaneous programs that respond to the competition.
- Facilitate the peak performance of the sales organization and dealer network as related to sales goals, dealer performance, and business growth.
- Direct the planning, forecasting and performance measurements necessary
- Direct implementation and execution of sales policies and practices.
- Regularly assess (through sales reports, dealer surveys, and other reconnaissance) the performance and support needs of Territory Managers and dealers. Formulate and implement solutions that address deficits.
- Develop and manage regional operating budgets.
- Develop and execute the strategic business and sales plan that directly support the overall vision and company objectives.
- Coordinate with Wells Fargo and other financial suppliers on business opportunities
- Recommend sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
- Consensus builder with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to communicate with non-financial executive peers and garner support for change
- Excellent leadership skills and proven manager of people with the ability to attract, develop and retain “A” level talent and build a strong team
- Experience managing dealer relationships
- Experience in developing and executing plans that have driven significant incremental revenue and EBITDA growth in their business
- Business leadership experience in the Outdoor Power Equipment industry preferred
- Mature and politically astute with a high degree of intelligence, integrity and honesty, initiative and drive
- Proficiency at the intermediate to experienced level with email and MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 60% and work extended hours as required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to present ideas in a clear, concise and compelling fashion to their team and senior management
- 5+ years of experience in a senior-level sales position, including leadership assignments, recruiting, managing, motivating and coaching a sales team with emphasis on meeting sales goals and increasing market share
- Ability to synthesize, analyze and present data, including solid skills in recognizing, evaluating and recommending areas for change
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
