Company Overview: We are a rapidly growing e-commerce company that operates internationally, offering high-quality products to customers worldwide. Our success is driven by our commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining efficient logistics operations. As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented person to join our team as a Purchasing & Logistics Specialist.

Position Overview: As the Purchasing & Logistics Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing our purchasing activities with vendors and overseeing logistics operations. You will also administer our Amazon Seller pages, maintain stable listings and manage inventory. This position offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with a passion for logistics and supply chain, whether you are experienced or early in your career in this field.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with vendors to place purchase orders, negotiate pricing and terms, and maintain strong relationships.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and resolve issues related to purchasing, logistics and Amazon.
  • Track shipments and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Support the team with administrative tasks like data entry and documentation management.
  • Coordinate logistics operations, including freight forwarding, customs clearance, and delivery coordination.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and compliance requirements related to purchasing and logistics.
  • Through Amazon Seller, work with the creative team to create Amazon listings, restock orders, and shop pages with support from the supply chain, product and marketing teams. Monitor and address alerts and new requirements from Amazon.

Qualifications (required):

  • Experience managing door-to-door shipping processes, both ocean and truck freight, including customs processes (at least 8 months).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a remote/online-only team environment.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in the field of supply chain.
  • Enthusiastic about using new technology and adapting work processes regularly - we move fast.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Education in a related field (logistics, mathematics, business, economics).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets skills (intermediate as a minimum - good understanding of formulas, filters, customized charts, and best practices).

Qualifications (additional):

  • Communication and writing skills in Mandarin, French and/or German are a plus.
  • Experience with Airtable.
  • Familiarity with purchasing processes and vendor management.
  • Experience managing Amazon listings and master data.

Benefits:

  • Collaborative and supportive team culture.
  • Fully remote work opportunity within Canada.
  • Flexible wellness & benefits package.
  • Opportunity for growth and development in the purchasing and logistics field.

Hiring within Canada only, with a requirement for full work hours in Eastern time. We do not provide work visa sponsorship at this time.

The Process:

  1. We’ll meet you for a 30-minute intro chat
  2. We’ll provide a short work sample to be completed in two hours or less with a 1 week response time
  3. We’ll set you up with one of our executives for an additional 30-minute discussion

How to Apply: If you have a passion for supply chain and logistics and want to contribute to a fast-growing e-commerce company, we would love to hear from you. Please submit your resume and a cover letter highlighting your interest in the Purchasing & Logistics Specialist position and how your skills align with our requirements. We look forward to reviewing your application!
