The successful candidate will be familiar with the world of transportation and logistics, customer project management, and unparallel customer service. Knowledge of truckload and LTL shipping, air freight, and/or intermodal services, as well as warehousing essentials, will be considered highly valued skills. We offer training and guidance to candidates with less experience who would like to advance in their careers in dedicated account management and logistics. More Senior and experienced candidates can benefit from positions within the company that requires the advanced skills of a seasoned account manager and/or Logistics Project Manager. This position involves managing specific company accounts, working closely with customers, and arranging for their transport and logistics requirements. The candidate must have familiarity with the below job criteria: Functions: Evaluate customer projects and determine the best logistical strategies to support our key account. Design, coordinate and implement the necessary networks to support our customer’s projects. Negotiate contracts for transport and storage services and develop partner relationships. Prepare accurate documentation and maintain clear details through our information systems. Communicate with partners to ensure deliverables are met or direct efforts to secure successful outcomes for our clients. Respond to customer inquiries, and provide guidance or recommendations to the customers. Ensure quality data management & nurture the account with a high degree of customer service. Follow all internal processes with attention to detail. May be called upon to participate in improvement projects for the customers or internal purposes. Skills: College Diploma or bachelor’s degree (an asset) 3 years of experience in customer service or logistics management is an asset. Able to monitor, track, and update projects as they evolve. Highly organized, detail-oriented, excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to actively listen, proactive problem solver and calm under pressure. Understanding and experience with management tools (ERP, WMS, web-based tools) Understanding of 3PL business practices and services Inventory management experience a plus Ability to work well in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. Bilingual in French and English is required.
