We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Property & Fleet Insurance Coordinator to join our team. This position has the option to be based out of our office in Calgary, AB, Victoria, BC, Stellarton, NS or Mississauga, ON.


The Property & Fleet Insurance Coordinator is responsible for the investigation and disposition of minor to moderate property/building damage and automobile claims and preparation of various Insurance Certificates.


Here’s Where You’ll Be Focusing


  • Review leases/contracts and request insurance certificates from brokers
  • Maintain Insurance certificate register
  • Create statistical reports with respect to property and fleet claim experience
  • Investigate, negotiate settlement, resolve minor to moderate property damage claims
  • Gather information and provide data for Fleet and property renewal on a timely basis
  • First point of contact for property, fleet and building damage claims
  • Develop and sustain effective relationships with internal departments/employees and external companies (i.e. Insurers, Adjusters, Maintenance Solution Centre, Property & Fleet Managers)


What You Have To Offer


  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience, diploma, certificate or degree in a relevant field
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
  • Analytical skills
  • Bilingual (French and English) is an asset
  • Proven ability to work independently and to adjust to a variety of tasks on a daily basis
  • Willingness to enroll in CIP program
  • Previous related work experience (i.e. claims, insurance, legal, etc.)
