- Review leases/contracts and request insurance certificates from brokers
- Maintain Insurance certificate register
- Create statistical reports with respect to property and fleet claim experience
- Investigate, negotiate settlement, resolve minor to moderate property damage claims
- Gather information and provide data for Fleet and property renewal on a timely basis
- First point of contact for property, fleet and building damage claims
- Develop and sustain effective relationships with internal departments/employees and external companies (i.e. Insurers, Adjusters, Maintenance Solution Centre, Property & Fleet Managers)
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience, diploma, certificate or degree in a relevant field
- Attention to detail, accuracy and timeliness
- Analytical skills
- Bilingual (French and English) is an asset
- Proven ability to work independently and to adjust to a variety of tasks on a daily basis
- Willingness to enroll in CIP program
- Previous related work experience (i.e. claims, insurance, legal, etc.)
