Property and Casualty Insurance Agent

A 100% telework environment throughout the province of Quebec

A full-time position with full training paid by Desjardins

Minimum of 10 years of experience in P&C Insurance underwriting

Experience with re-insurance underwriting is a plus

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or similar field; MBA are a plus

Hands-on experience using or implementing Moody’s Analytics (or direct competitor) products

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

Public speaking experience, publications, and/or internal lead on training within an organization are a plus

Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.

Leads on change management initiatives in support of the company’s strategic plan.

Ten years or more of personal lines underwriting or related experience.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

A Bachelor’s Degree or post-secretary certificate is required (or equivalent of industry experience).

Exhibits solid organizational skills and rigorous attention to detail/accuracy in a fast-paced environment – particularly in relation to data entry;
